Introduction If you do not know what the MU Home Study Course is, go here: http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/howtodraw/homestudy.html Hey all, I've been very curious about the MU Home Study Course. It seems that a lot of people who applied for the course don't show their results (critique sketches) here. During my 3+ years here, I've only seen less than 5. I know I'm not the only curious person here so I'm creating this thread with the purpose of gathering more critique sketches from former or current students. This will give prospective students a closer look at this course and help them make a decision whether to enroll or not. Also, questions can be asked here. If you have a critique sketch from the MU Home Study Course, please post it here! Do not post lessons here. They are copyrighted content. Posting Format Here is the posting format. If you need any help posting, please send me a private message. 1. State your teacher's name 2. Month and year you've attended. If you forgot, that's fine. 3. Something about your teacher. You can include his/her website and/or list any books he/she worked on. 4. Optional - Include something about yourself at the time you've attended. 5. Original work you've submitted for critique. It was an honor to have Ms. Tadano as my teacher. This course was a huge inspiration for me. Up to this day, I remain inspired by Ms. Tadano. I wish Ms. Tadano will teach again someday. When you're done, give me the links to all your images via private message. That should include your original drawing and your teacher's critique sketch. Also, provide the translations if necessary. (Sorry if this isn't the right place in the forums to ask.) I have loads of ideas; they're just hiding from me.

MU Freshman Posts: 42 11/15/09 15:45:21	Hi everyone, My Folks got me the online coarse for Christmas, I have to sit out of collage I am currently going to for one sesmester ( don't want to go in to the details ) but this will help me learn to draw Manga. but I don't want to learn to draw Bleech type characters but more of a henti character type. Although I will not be going into that field. So what all does the coarse teach some one only know what a crosshatch is? and how to shadow eyes but not really draw manga yet?

No, I'm not complaining, just merely stating a personal wish. Thank you very much to Mr. Okura for the wonderful critique, it was great to have such a good teacher to point out the faults I had made in the drawing. Truly appreciated.
