How to Draw

Help with hair that doesn't exist

A few years ago I drew a comic with a characte named Japeth (Imaginary bounus points if you can tell me where I got the name) whose hair was a little on the extreme side. Now I want to redraw this character but this hair is... not real. It doesn't work. I don't know what to do.

I haven't drawn in quite awhile (since school started in August this year, actually), unless you call scribbling down various doodles and ideas serious drawing. I think I'm getting a little rusty, so it's a good thing Christmas Break is here. :)
I'm currently practicing anatomy. By what I can see, her hands are too small---although she isn't an adult yet...

Hi everyone, I'm new to drawing and I need some tips and crits.
If possible can someone give me a good place to find out how to draw male characters, i find it hard to draw them compare to female characters. but Im still having problems with the chest.

Copic Markers Set Choice

I plan to buy one of the four universal copic sketch marker sets A B C D
And would like some opinion on which set would be the best starter. I plan to draw
manga characters of course so I'd like a good range of skin tones and blenders. but it seems
most of those sets are missing actual colors. All advice is appreciated!.

Copics Markers and Coloring Pens

I wanted to know what a Copic Marker is called in general, last time I went shopping for it the clerk was absolutely clueless. Also are coloring pens similar with Copic markers? I've always wanted to learn how to use Copic markers only they are quite expensive here. I'm from the Philippines by the way.
